So the thought of buying a year's worth of goods is a bit foreign to me. Naoko and I have mostly been daily shoppers, rarely do we ever do a big grocery shopping. Today as we loaded up our grocery cart and the goods started to pile up, it started to feel like I was on that old game show Super Market Sweeps where your supposed to indiscriminately grab as much as you can and whatever you want. It's fun!
Being in Whitehorse puts us at a bit of a disadvantage compared to others moving from down south up to Nunavut as our Superstore's shelves can be feast or famine; luckily this week their supply of Japanese rice was plum full and we bought the store out. We now have fourteen 10kg bags of rice, I figure that'll last a year!
