Pangnirtung

Some shots of my trip to Pangnirtung, or as the locals call it Panniqtuuq ("the place of many bull caribou"). It was stunningly beautiful place, but have to admit it was mostly all work and no play. Had a chance to briefly go the Northern Store while I was there and I felt like I was in the big city; hit home as to how small Resolute truly is. Be that as it may, it was good to get home and see Nao and Taiga.

    Always enjoy your photos and entries, Mike! That boat is quite interesting, the ceiling planking (the planking inside the boat) is laid out in a pretty interesting manner. Any idea how old it is? How expensive is it to get lumber?
